Position Title: Armed Guard

Company Overview: Executive Protection Group is a leading provider of security services, dedicated to safeguarding our clients' assets and ensuring a secure environment. We are currently seeking experienced and qualified individuals to join our team as Armed Guards.

Job Description: As an Armed Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our client's premises by deterring threats, responding to incidents, and protecting personnel and assets. You will be responsible for carrying and utilizing firearms in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter criminal activity, vandalism, or unauthorized access.

• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems to identify and respond to security breaches or suspicious behavior.

• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and provide a sense of security for employees, visitors, and clients.

• Respond promptly to emergencies, such as disturbances, medical incidents, or fire alarms, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.

• Utilize firearms and other defensive equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.

• Conduct thorough security checks of individuals, vehicles, and packages entering or exiting the premises to prevent contraband or unauthorized items from entering the facility.

• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as needed to coordinate responses to security incidents.

• Complete accurate and detailed reports of incidents, including the use of force, and maintain proper documentation in accordance with company guidelines.

• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to maintain proficiency in firearms handling, defensive tactics, and other relevant skills.

• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and adhere to company dress code and grooming standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.

• Valid armed guard license or certification required.

• Must be legally authorized to carry firearms and possess a valid concealed carry permit or equivalent, if applicable.

• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, particularly in high-stress situations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must have a CPL Licence.

• Must have reliable transportation.
